CLUB UPRISING
>> Moving Students Forward >>
Club Uprising meets on high school and junior high campuses thoughout the Grant County area for the purpose of mentorship though small group ministry. Unlike other high school clubs that meet in a general assembly and then dismiss, Club Uprising is mentorship oriented. We do this because we believe that the empowerment of high school students is most effective through small groups and one-on-one relationships. The mentoring in these clubs takes place during small group meetings at the club, and then outside of school where the group leader can give much needed focus and attention to each individual student.
Many of the students involved in our mentorship program quickly become active and a productive part of the school community by attending sports' activities, student functions, and showing up weekly to serve the high school in which their club meets. Not only do these clubs encourage the students who choose to join, but Club Uprising also launches them to their full potiential by helping them conquer the difficulites in their lives.
